October 3 & 24: Paints Uncorked

Join us for a fun evening of painting and sipping! Two dates remain in October. Create your own masterpiece with the guidance of our artist instructor while enjoying wine from the Niagara Wine Trail. $25/person. Reservation required. For complete details, click here.

OCTOBER 15: Peter & Wendy with Missoula Children's Theatre

MCT is back for a 14th season to present a rollicking musical version of Peter Pan with all your favorite characters--plus some new friends and foes! Performances will take place at the Historic Palace Theatre at 3 and 7 p.m. More than 50 roles will be filled by local students. See details here for group audition date and time.

OCT 23rd: Fun Family Event!

Celebrate all things fall with a fun day for families, Sunday, October 23! Join us for an afternoon of games, crafts, pumpkin decorating and more! 2-4 PM. From 4-6 PM, we'll host "Trunk or Treat" where little ones can fill their bags with goodies in a safe environment. Recommended for ages 3-13. $8/child covers both events; $4/child for one event. NOV 5TH: Kenan Speaker Series Presents Diana Butler Bass

The Kenan Center and First Presbyterian Church of Lockport proudly present author, speaker, and independent scholar of American religion and culture, Diana Butler Bass. Her books include Grounded: Finding God in the World, Christianity for the Rest of Us, and others. Advance reservations are $10 for general public/$5 for students and may be made by calling 433-2617. Join us for a lively discussion of Dr. Butler Bass's book, Grounded, October 27, 7 p.m. at the Kenan House. Facilitated by Rev. James Hardy, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Lockport.

Fall Classes & Programs for Children

Fall Youth Soccer. Registration forms have been mailed to current participants or visit the Soccer page to download a registration form. The program offers clinics for four-year-olds and team play for children ages 5-17. Deadline is September 16.

Art with Cassandra: Sculpture for Ages 5-8. Students will bring their ideas to life as three dimensional sculptures through a variety of media and techniques. Six weeks, September 15-October 20; 5:30-6:30 PM. $90 per student. More details here.

"The World Around Us": Children & Music Together with Mary Dunn. For ages 18 months -3 1/2 years. Classes start October 4 and run for 10 weeks. More details here.

4th Annual Kenan Center Harvest Gala, October 29. Join your friends for a wonderful evening of food, drink, and dancing to the Mark Mazur Trio at the Lockport Town & Country Club. Proceeds benefit the Kenan Center Scholarship Program. More details here.
