About 100 American Craftsmen100 American Craftsmen is an annual juried show of contemporary craft art held at the Kenan Arena on the historic Kenan Center campus in Lockport, New York--just a short drive from Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Rochester and southern Ontario. The show is noted as one of the top favorite craft shows/festivals in New York State, and Buffalo Niagara's only, and longest-running, show dedicated to contemporary craft art featureing leather, glass, metal, clay, wood, basketry, fiber, paper and mixed media. All proceeds from admissions and exhibitors fees are used to cover show expenses and support our 25-acre campus which is the largest regional community arts, education and recreation center in Eastern Niagara.
Many of our craftsmen return year after year because they enjoy the friendly, intimate atmosphere that encourages plenty of one-on-one with shoppers. Visitors to 100 American Craftsmen enjoy the wide aisles that allow for leisurely browsing--and wheelchair accessibility--and "animal-free," "rain-free" browsing. In addition, 100 American Craftsmen visitors enjoy a full weekend of activity including live music, a gourmet cafe, a wine tent featuring Niagara Wine Trail wines, an Herbal Plant Sale, fine art exhibit in the 1850s Kenan house, plus a free raffle ticket for a chance to win an original work of craft art donated by our artisans with admission!

Supporting the Arts for More Than 40 Years!Since its first exhibition of works by renowned watercolorist, Charles Burchfield, in 1966, the Kenan Center has supported, facilitated and promoted the visual arts through gallery exhibitions, student shows, the gift shop, adult and children's classes, our new on-school-time arts education program, and commissioned artworks. These programs are made possible, in part, through the proceeds generated by 100 American Craftsmen, an exhibition of fine craft that was started in 1970 by local artisans and volunteers, and which was one of the few venues in New York State for the exhibition and sale of craft art.Location and Directions100 American Craftsmen takes place indoors at the Kenan Center Arena, 195 Beattie Avenue, on the East side of the Kenan Center campus (bordering Locust Street). You can enter the grounds from either Locust or Beattie. Ample free parking is available, but can be full during peak show hours. Parking is permitted on neighboring side streets.
