Job Opening: Sports & Recreation Monitor

Part-time nights and weekends. The S&R Program Monitor will perform duties as requested by the S&R Manager. When working alone, the S&R Program Monitor is responsible for all arena activities. The S&R Program Monitor is responsible for providing first-rate customer service. Qualifications: Experience working in sports and recreation programs; degree in related field preferred; general knowledge in the field of sports and recreation; expectional customer service skills; exceptional computer skills (MS Word/Publisher/Excel); ability to handle multiple tasks in a variety of areas; highly organized and detail-oriented; ability to work without supervision; excellent communication skills.

Must be at least 12 years of age. If you're interested, please call the Arena office at 433-2619 or visit in person.

Along with one of the largest indoor youth soccer programs in the Buffalo Niagara region, the Kenan Center offers a variety of team sport activities to children and adults year ’round. youth soccer and soccer clinics, lacrosse, and adult soccer, volleyball, and dodgeball are just a few of the programs available.

Kenan Center Arena

The Kenan Arena, built in 1969, is a modern, multi-use facility that houses the Kenan sports and recreation department, and also provides exhibition space for special events such as the Quilters’ Guild Bi-Annual Quilt Show and the Kenan Center’s 100 American Craftsmen show, which has been held annually since 1971, and attracts more than 5,000 visitors to the Kenan Center campus.
